ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC
THE MOUNT OLIVE ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, JUNE
4TH AT RIVER LEGACY PARK IN ARLINGTON. THE PICNIC STARTS PROMPTLY AT 9AM
WITH PRAYER. THERE WILL BE A SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SOFTBALL,
VOLLEYBALL, HORSESHOES, HEALTH WALK, TRACK & FIELD AND THE N. L. ROBINSON
FISHING CONTEST.
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR GROUP CAPTAIN CONCERNING YOUR GROUP'S HOUR TO WORK
AT THE PICNIC. ALL SCHEDLED ACTIVITIES WILL BEGIN ON TIME. A PRINTED SCHEDULE
OF ACTIVITIES AN GROUP HOURS TO WORK IS POSTED BY THE SECRETARY'S OFFICE.

REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE CHURCH OFFICE. CAMP BEGINS MAY
31ST AND ENDS AUGUST 12TH.
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!!!!!!
We're doing a pictorial directory to draw our church family closer together,
to create a tool for telling people about our ministries, and to celebrate
our church. We will begin scheduling appointments next week for photography
beginning June 29, 2005. There is no cost to the church and no sitting
fee for your family. You will receive a complimentary 8x10 portrait and
a copy of the directory for participating. You will be photographed, choose
your pose for the directory and have the chance to make additional purchases
all in one trip to the church. Please sign up TODAY!!!! Our directory
won't be complete without you!!!

WELDON DAVID WASHINGTON will receive a Masters of Technology
from North Carolina A & T University.
KIMBERLY SHERETTE McANDERSON will receive a Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from TCU.
DeTRECE ADELE WILLIAMS will receive a Bachelor of Arts
in Accounting from Dillard University.
JERILYN NICOLE MARSHALL will receive a Bachelor of Science
in Elementary Education from Texas A&M, Commerce.
ERIN ALYSSA GRANT will receive a Bachelor of Business
Administration in Business & Marketing from Texas Tech University.
SAMUEL PARSON will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Goverenment
and African-American Studies from the University of Texas, at Austin.
JEREMY SELF will receive a Bachelor of Science in Marketing
from Grambling State University.
Basketball Youth Sign-Ups will be held today and each
Sunday in May after both services. The cost is $20 per applicant.
Don't forget, each Saturday morning in May, Youth Skill and Development
exercises will be conducted in the gym. This will be an opportunity for
all coaches to work with their teams.
Practice Times are as follows....
Boys & Girls ages 9 & under - practice from 9AM to 10AM
Boys & Girls ages 10 to 12 - practice from 10AM - 11AM
Boys & Girls ages 13 to 17 - practice from 11AM - 12noon

With Spring comes a burst of energy in all living things. I you have been
holed up with a good book or the remote control all winter, then it is
time for you to put that burst of energy to better use. Join us for exercise
class on Monday nights at 6PM in the fellowship hall. Bring your mat and
towel. It's good for your heart. "Regular
strength training lowers your percentage of body fat and adds muscle tissue,
both of which can help guard against heart disease." Instructions
for modified routines are given if needed.
