The Mount Olive Baptist Church Child Development Center has been providing quality childcare in the community since 1980. It provides childcare for families with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.  All children enrolled in childcare will received Breakfast, Hot Lunch, and Snacks according to hours established in the childcare schedule.

 

 

Location

The Mount Olive Child Development Center is located at 207 West Sanford at the corner of Sanford and Pecan, just one block East of the Mount Olive main church building at the church annex. For Directions (click here).

 

Hours of Operation

Child Development Center: Monday - Friday / 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 12 months a year

The Center will be close on the following nationally observed holidays:

  • New Year's day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (4th of July)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and following Friday
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Holiday closing notices will be posted in advance.  Parents will be notified in advance of any additional closings.  The Mount Olive Chlld Development Center reserves the right to execute a 2 hour delayed opening (8:00 AM) on bad weather days due to ice, snow, flooding, etc.  In general, the center will follow the policy of the Arlington Independent School District for bad weather days.  During the Christmas holidays, if enrollment capacity is down, we will adjust the center's schedule accordingly. 

All children must arrive at the center by 10:00 AM (no later than 10:15 AM).  The only exception to this policy will be doctor's appointments in which we will need prior notice and a statement from the doctor's office.  This arrival time will allow for proper staffing and an accurate lunch count.

Child Development Center Children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Enrollment Info

As a state licensed facility, the Mount Olive Child Development Center is required to maintain certain current information about each child.  It is our responsibility to keep this information to better care for your child in your absence.  It is your responsibility, as the parent, to keep us informed of any changes in your address, home phone number, employment phone number or work schedule so that you may be reached in case of an emergency. 

Other changes that may occur such as allergies, feeding schedules, special needs or problems, adds or deletions to lists of individuals your child may be released to, exposure to contagious diseases, change of school name, or changes in physician, physician address or phone number is pertinent information which should be turned in to the office or administration as soon as possible.  We will make every effort to retrieve all current information and changes from you when such instances should occur making it known that the recorded information is incorrect.  Any and all forms presented to the parent by the center should be read, filled out and submitted to the office or administration prior to or upon the child's first day of attendance.
